Vikaasa 2022
Vikaasa 2022 was a three-day free summer camp for children, presented by Kalabhi (R.) in collaboration with Samanvaya at Jaya Padma Sabha Bhavana, Srirama School, Parangipete.
Led by Trisha Shetty, Theatre Manager at Kalabhi, and conducted from 28 to 30 April 2022 (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), the camp brought together 89 children from the 5th to 10th standard for an engaging environment of artistic exploration.
Each day introduced children to creative experiences through sessions with renowned artists and theatre practitioners. Day one featured children's songs, theatre activities, and dance led by Trisha Shetty, Maimu Ramdas, and Shwetha Arehole, alongside a special presentation of Ranga Sanje – Kalabhi Sanje.
The second day continued with theatre sessions by Ninasam graduate Bhuvan Manipal and clay artwork sessions by Fine Arts graduate Satwik Nallitheertha, followed by a musical presentation of Baduku Tiliso Haadu. The final day included interactions with Patla Satish Shetty and theatre activities by Prakash K., concluding with a student-led Ranga Sanje.
Providing full hospitality including lunch, snacks, and refreshments, Vikaasa 2022 successfully blended theatre, music, dance, and visual arts into a memorable summer learning experience.
